Domyouji Tuskasa had never been happier that his family was so powerful worldwide. It was the only reason he'd been able to track down Rui's location so quickly. The Domyouji's had eyes everywhere. And he had a whole plan of action now. He was quite confident that everything would go along well.
Of course, anyone that knew Tsukasa, knew his plans always failed miserably. And it was usually his own fault.
Walking along the strip, glaring at all the flashing lights and ridiculous sales traps (though secretely he was in awe of them), he finally settled upon a bench that overlooked a great fountain. He had no clue what it was called, but the music and the lights really gave the water an ethereal attraction to him. He'd always been intrigued by all things water, making his own fountains with his powers, but this one he could make no improvements on. It made him angry.
"Hey, you!" he yelled in a very thick accent to a passing girl, American. "What's this stupid fountain called? Tell me now!"

Lily stumbled to a stop, glancing around in surprise. Even though she'd had her music blasting through her headphones, that loud voice had cut through with ease. My god, was he loud.
Swiveling her head around to glare at the asian boy, she plucked one earbud from her ear and said, "Maybe I'll tell you if you decide to speak at a decible that doesn't hurt my eardrums." After a moment of thought, she added, "And a please will get you a long way."
She wasn't usually so snappish, but after the nights happenings, she was at her limits. And she really hated it when people yelled and ordered her about. Who did this guy think he was, anyway?

She did not just speak to him that way. Her! A mere commoner in comparison to him, a Domyouji. Did she not know who he was?
Anger abound, as his emotion were very easily ignited, Tsukasa practically flung himself off the bench and stalked towards her. "Do you know who I am, you little brat?!" he shouted. He refrained from grabbing her and tossing her into the fountain out of his anger. His mother, Kaede, had explicitly told him to stay out of trouble while in Vegas, or else his allowance would be severely cut. The family money was everything to him. "I'm a Domyouji. Heir to the Domyouji Group internationally! So you will tell me what I want to know, baka, and there will be no 'please's' about it!"
The nerve of the girl! Speaking to him in such a manner! No one had ever dared such a thing, and it made him furious... And he was deftly ignoring the shock and reluctant respect that he felt for that. Stupid Girl.

Did he just... He just call her stupid and a brat all in one breath? Lily wasn't usually the type to get angry so easily, but it seemed his anger rolled right off him and affected her. And it also didn't help that she could hear his thoughts. Hell, he was pretty much shouting them at her, just like he was verbally. Of course, she'd only taken basic Japanese classes, so she could only understand a bit, but still! She understood the baka comment, and that was enough!
Swinging her fist back, "It's the Bellagio, b*tch!" she yelled back, before hitting him with the full force of her body behind her fist.
Wow. She rarely yelled. She certainly didn't swear, or disrespect most people in such a manner. Hitting two people in twenty four hours was an even greater record for her. What was it with the men pissing her off lately?
After hitting him, good and hard enough that he stumbled back a few steps, she decided it better to flee. So she took off at a run, shooting down the path and through tourists and gamblers, hoping he wouldn't be able to catch up with her. Crap.

Ouch. That was his first thought after she hit him. Bellagio. That was the fountain's name registering. And then, "Baka," was what he muttered angrily, thinking her the stupidest, vilest girl he'd ever met, before taking after her at a running pace. He was going to kill her for that. There was large part of him that was consumed by his anger, furious at being hit by a slip of a girl, at being talked to in such a manner. And then there was the underlying part that was confused and intrigued by those actions, having never been faced with such a girl other than his own sister. And even his sister was nice to him on most occasions.
Tsukasa roared something unintelligable after her. Man, she was fast. How was she so fast?! Out of breath, he just barely got behind her, grappling at the back of her shirt to get her to stop. He didn't know what he was going to do when he caught her. Kill her. Kidnap her and find out just why she was so reckless. Kiss her. Wait. What? Where the hell did that come from?! No! He was definitely just gonna kill her! Yes, that was it.

Lily let out an earsplitting scream when he caught up with her, before swinging around and hitting him in the face with her book bag. She ripped free of his grasp and continued to run. She climbed over the fence to on of Vegas' many parks, hit the ground face first, before stumbling back up and running for it. What was it with the crazy people? Why were they all finding her lately? Of course, the only crazy people were the reincarnated Old Powers. Xerxes wasn't crazy... she hoped. Gods! She just had the crappiest luck!

Tsukasa winced at the scream. That girl had a set of lungs on her. When she slipped out of his grasp, he yelled himself, angered even more that she'd gotten away again. And then... Oh, man. Domyouji's did not jump fences, but there he went, flinging himself up and over, landing gracefully on his feet and setting off after her again. But she'd been slowed down by her fall, and this time it was a bit easier to catch up to her. This time he didn't try to be nice in stopping her.
His chest collided with her back, his arms wrapping around hers to stop her from hitting him again. Even as she frantically struggled to get away from him, he dragged her to the ground and held her there against his chest. Ha! No getting away now! The stupid little brat. Even if it was odd to be holding down a female, but still! As soon as she gave up, he was going to get even!

Lily screeched again when she was taken down to the ground. She struggled, but he was exceptionally strong. Well, geez. Anger riled to unexpected heights and terrified out of her wits, she pulled out her last resort measure. Cause she couldn't expect someone in this part of Vegas to help her out of this situation.
It was no doubt her powers were stronger when her emotions were involved, even though it was bound to tire her out. And so she ceased struggling, focused. The activity of the strip became a distant buzz as her focus was solely on the earth around her. She could feel each blade of grass beneath her, sense each tree within the block, and she could control them. And there, with a burst of her own power, she willed ivy vines to grow forth from the ground at an alarmingly rapid pace. They twined around the crazy man, ripping his arms from around her and locking him down to the ground.
In that moment, she rolled away, and prepared to run again, only this time she knew she could get away. It would take a while for him to get out of those suckers without her help.

Tsukasa didn't bother to think about how she'd gotten the best of him just yet. No his anger was too great for that. Instead, he lashed out, not wanting her to get the best of him. Not wanting to let her get away.
There was a creek just a little down the hill from them, and though he was bound down by these stupid vines, he used his own powers to divert the flow of the creek. The water stilled, parted, and flew in the air like a great fountain and then shot straight at her. Of course, he didn't take into account that he was right next to her, and was hit in the process. The force of it sent her rocketing back into him. He felt a sharp pain in his gut when she collided into him, and it was the pain that stratled him out of his intent, leaving them both soaking wet, the creek back to normal, and him still covered in plantlife. Dripping wet and shivering because the water was freaking cold, she didn't try to run. Her mind was oddly blank, the shock of his display of power stilling her thoughts. She couldn't process this at all.
Swinging her head around to stare at him with wide eyes, she wondered, thoughts coming to her slowly. "You... and the... Is it just water you control?" she stammered. He couldn't be... could he?

Tsukasa raised his eyebrows, and smirked at her. But he couldn't do much else since he was still tied to the ground. He hated that he'd been in the path of the water. Water made his curly hair straight. Not that he'd look bad. He always looked good. He was just that awesome.
"Ha!" he said, strangely happy that he'd shocked her. She had to be awed by him! Why he was happy about that, well, he didn't care. At the moment, he'd gotten a silly grin, and looked very much like an eager puppy. "I can do that easily. And I can control emotions! Bet you can't get over that, tree hugger."

Just like water had, Lily thought with dismay. But in the past life, he'd been a nice guy. Weak and kind. Wow. He'd changed.
"Yeah, well that explains why I got so angry," she said, crossing her arms over her chest. "You rub off on people the wrong way. And I don't need to control water. I control anything related to the earth. Plants. Lightning. And I can heal and read thoughts."
She didn't mention that most of those weakened her as of now, untrained. She wasn't going to let him get the best of her.

Tsukasa made a scoffing noise in the back of his throat, but his silly grin did not go away. "Yeah, well, I'm still better than you," he insisted. Of course, he was the one still tied down... "So you can grow some vines. I can make a fountain out of a creek. Way better than any Bellag-o."
What was weird to him, was that in all those dreams he'd been having as of late, of four people... Earth, Air, Fire and him, Water. She seemed just like earth... only in powers, though. The girl was completely different. She was stupid, and a brat. But he still found himself grudgingly respecting her.

Sensing he wasn't going to attack her again, Lily took the risk and sent the ivy back into the ground. She was getting sick of hearing him thinking about being tied down all the time. Though, she was oddly pleased that he respected her now. Whatever.
She had come to the conclusion that he really was Water reincarnated, but from his surface thoughts (as that was all she could read without tiring herself more), she could tell he didn't remember. Well, she wouldn't push it. Too much effort in that. She already had to deal with Air and Fire.
"I'm not stupid," she snapped, though there wasn't any real anger in her tone. She was really tired now. Using too much power always did that to her. "And you look like a drowned rat. So there."

Tsukasa sat up, rolling his shoulders unconsciously. Man, it was nice to be able to move again, even if he was drenched still.
"I don't know what you're talking about, I always look good," he said, grinning still. He reached over and ruffled her hair in a silly gesture, adding an oddly affectionate, "Baka."
That was her new nickname from now on with him. He didn't know her real name.
"And for power, I'm well-trained," he said, "You can't really think to beat me, can you? Look at you! You're shaking, and obviously exhausted. Obviously untrained. Me? I feel as fit as a five-headed monkey."
