Here he was again. At Axed. But there was no mass orgy this time, nor was there any Tabitha. Not that he expected to see her right now. For the time being, she was happily tucked away with Rhys in the remain of his desert home.
Strangely, he didn't find himself caring as much as he had before. Something about them finally getting their chance seemed right to him. He wondered if he'd get that chance with someone. Meh. Doubtful. That kind of passion only blessed a lucky few and he was probably not one of them. It was like Ombra had said all those many many years ago. People liked him because they were compelled to and he'd never be happy with anyone like that.
But the awful truth of it was that she was also with someone else. Soulmated no less. He'd allotted himself twenty minutes to look for her. Twenty minutes. And within those twenty minutes of surveying in mirrors, he not only learned that she ws soulmated, but who she was soulmated to. Yep, hope was sufficiently lost to him so he ordered a drink from Addy herself. Anything guaranteed to drown out his sorrows. She assured him that he didn't know the meaning of sorrow at his age, but he just shook his head and started drinking his Jovial Jinxer Juice.

Madeline Frost, Maddy, Mad.... all sorts of names for a girl who was having a blast at Axed. She was in no fouler mood than usual, no less drunk, no less weaponized. She had no time for the depressing people.
At the moment, she was too busy hustling some vamps in pool, and winning not only their money but whatever cool weapons they had on their person. It wasn't that she couldn't just have Pystol make her some customized ones, but it was so much more fun to trick people out of their own.
Smiling mischievously at the two vamps, who were now glowering in a corner and possibly discussing her murder, she headed over for the bar and tossed a miniature axe at Addy, knowing how easily she could catch it or let it hit the wall behind her.
"Think that one should go to Lil...." she trailed off, tilting her head slightly in Jay's direction as she noticed him. Damn. Damn.... Double damn.
It was no secret that Maddy liked her men raging hot, and this one definitely hit that marker. But man, what was with the sourpuss attitude? Well, there was always a sure fire way to fix that.
Keeping her gaze focused on Jay, she didn't even ask Addy the details before bluntly making her way over to him with her drink and hopping up for a seat on the bar beside him. There was definitely an odd pull to be attracted to him, magical, but while it was there, she would be insane not to find him hot without it.
"Why such a morose face, kid?" She didn't really care. Whatever it was could be fixed, in her opinion. She got the laid back attitude, at least with guys, from Addy. That woman was a god in her own right, especially with drink making. "Need me to go axe a chick? Wanna another drink? Or we could do what always makes things better and have a really hot one night stand!"
With a grin worthy of the snake that got Eve to eat the apple in Eden, she knudged his knee with the heel of her shoe and waited for him to take her up on her offer.

Jay looked sullenly from his drink. Long enough to catch the fact that she was pretty freaking hot. Then he put his head back down to his drink. Addy had said it wouldn't really start to take effect until he finished it, but now he wasn't even sure it was worth the effort. For one thing, a potion was only gonna help for so long and for another, he was all too tempted by the..female..in front of him.
"You only want to make me feel better because you're compelled to because of my powers," he said melodramatically, "And I don't need someone else coming leaving me for another stupid man." he moped, letting too much information out already.
Whatever. Maybe it would chase her off and save him the trouble.

Maddy sighed, shaking her head. Depressing people. What was with all of them lately?
She didn't say anything just yet, just hopped off the counter, stalked around it and grabbed her axe before coming back at him with it raised to smack the hell out of him.
"Now, you listen here," she said, "I realize that there is some pull to be attracted to you. I am not stupid. However, even if there wasn't, you're still hot and I would have hit on you anyway. And if you don't stop being such a mope, I'm gonna axe the emo right out of you."
Maddy also didn't seem to take well to rejection either.

Jay looked up from his drink, looked at her, then back to where Addison was snickering behind the counter, and back to her again. Sighed. And downed the last of his drink.
"Well then," he said, getting up from his seat. For some reason he didn't feel..happy. Just...cynically horny. Thanks Addison.
He stood in front of where she sat on the bar and licked his lips. He heard someone gasp somewhere in the room as he let loose all the pent up energy in a wave of power that was sure to make him an instant magnet. But he only had eyes for one person right this moment. Without warning, he stepped forward, and pushed her kneed apart with his hips. This left them very....close.
"I think we can arrange something," he whispered in her ear before his lips began their attack on her neck. Consent? meh.

Maddy made a sound that sounded strangely akin to "Mrr....grrrr......uuungggh..." when she was hit with a resounding smack of attraction. It was quite like being hit in the back of the head with the blunt end of an axe.
"Why am I so attracted to.... Ah, fuck, why would I even care?"
And damn straight he better lose the emo attitude. Although, for some reason, she would have felt pretty bad about hitting him with her axe. She just didn't know how to deal with men like him. The nicer ones. Ugh. Everything was so much easier when you could just beat it up.
But still, he was extremely hot. She had no problem with this. Not even a bit, even if he was using some sort of wonky magic against her. It's not like she wasn't attracted as it was. No need to add to it, just made her want to.... Ah, screw it. She decided she just plain didn't care, and dropped her axe, wrapping a leg around his and using her body weight to toss him up against the bar counter. Yep, definitely liking him right now.
"Let's forget the arrangements and just get things moving, shall we? As much as I love an audience, I don't like to share. Where to, I don't care, but you're fanclub isn't allowed stalking privileges tonight."
