It had been a long, exasperating day for Nick. Dealing with Faye, her snide remarks and instinctive way of downtrodding humans into slavehood, had only caused him a massive headache and a near undeniable urge to pummel something. There was just no escaping his life in New Salem, was there? Of course not.
But now he was at the car shop, and he could vent all his frustrations on the cars around him. Put his hands and mind to work and forget about everything for a short while. That was why he loved to work on cars. It was a great distraction, and the only thing he was actually good at. He liked the small feeling of accomplishment when he rebuilt a car, a classic.
It was late at night, a closing time for all other shops except this one. Nope, this one was open 24 hours, and he was the one who'd volunteered for graveyard shift. He was always more awake at night. So sue him. And this way he had time to be alone, to work without disruption for no customers came in so late. Ever.
Of course, he was usually wrong. It was just his luck in the universe.
((OOC: Hope this is an okay start. I suck at first posts. Lol. ))

As of yet, Deborah hadn't met any of these alleged Night People. The few letters that Faye had sent her when she was back in New Salem hadn't been very descriptive. But the hope that there were actual people who knew more than the Princess of Purity and her little followers pushed Deb onwards.
Unfortunately, riding through the crowded streets of Vegas wasn't so great for her bike. For the past few days, it had been reluctant to start. And on more than one occasion, it had threatened to cease movement even though she had her fingers pulling on the gas lever. So she'd looked up the closest garage and made her way there.
Deborah half expected the shop to be closed, but sure enough, she saw lights in the respective building. Pulling up into the drive, the bike almost failed to brake. "Piece of crap," she mumbled, annoyed. Getting off the bike, she pushed it against the brick wall entrance and glanced around. ooc;; thanks for starting the post clearly i dont ride a motorbike, so apologies for sounding like an amateur

((It's cool. I've never even touched a bike. Lol.))
Nick raised his head from beneath the hood of an old Chevy, as the bell above the front door rang. Oh great. A customer. With a grunt, he tossed his wrench off to the side and made his way to the front. He was just wiping the grease off of his hands onto the front of his jeans as he walked out of the garage. Only to come face to face with his cousin.
A slight raise of his eyebrows was the only sign of his surprise. "Lemme guess," he said coolly, "The whole coven's just going to move to Vegas now. I'm just stuck with you guys."

Leaving the door open, so that her bike was still in view, Deborah waited. Sounds of someone moving around in the back came to her, and soon someone entered the front of the store. Someone very familiar to Deborah.
"Nick." A hint of surprise entered her voice as she raised her eyebrows. Deb knew that Nick was here, but for him to be at the shop that she just happened to come to....the coincedence was barely one at all.
I'm just stuck with you guys.
Deborah put on an unimpressed smirk. "Like you could ever get rid of me." Although she was happy enough to see her beloved cousin, she would have to find another car shop. Deb had never let Nick touch her bike, and wasn't about to start now just because he did such things professionally. "Still obsessed with cars then?"

Nick shrugged, pulling a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket and then lighting one for himself. "Haven't I always been?" he said with amusement. Deb was his cousin, and therefore by right, he would let himself relax a bit. "At least I got a good job out of it. What brings you here anyway? To Vegas, and to my shop?"((OOC: So, I've decided to use colors too on mah fonts. Cause it's awesome. Lol))
